I don't give a flip if we play Bama, Oregon, OSU, Houston,1988 Hurricanes, 1996 Cornhuskers, etc., but consider this:

Has any college football team ever lost to the same team twice in the same season?

What will happen to Saban's legacy if he loses to "The Dummy" twice in ONE season?

It's too much. I will never let a Bammer leave down that shite. Gary Danielson's already saying LSU deserves a share of the MNC for body of work. Bammers will be tighter than Saban's butthole on 4th and 1.

Is that a joke?

This is truth. Bama has more to lose playing in this game. Their fans haven't quite realized this yet - mostly because they believe winning the game is a given. Once they realize the downside of Saban losing to LSU twice in the same season, their buttholes will tighten up.

By beating Saban, Miles would be doing the same thing to Saban that Saban did to Urban Meyer. Making him quit.

LSU, on the other hand, has more to gain. They'll be able to go into the game as an underdog and cement a legacy as one of the best teams of all time.

Georgia in 03 comes to mind.

LSU has a lot to lose as well, especially if we go 13-0, only to lose at our "home" stadium in regulation to Bama.

However, I believe if OSU beats OU, there will not be a rematch. I went back an looked at our BCS numbers from 07 and compared them to the present ones. IMO, I feel that the voters will be conflicted between giving the SEC all the BCS money in a rematch game and allowing a team that won their conference. As a result, the computer polls which have OSU 2nd will be the determining factor.

Without a doubt, LSU gets the default recruiting advantage for the duration of Miles' tenure over Saban and Bama. Saban's legacy takes a huge hit as Les Miles uses Saban as a huge pillar from which to build the foundation of his new "Eternal/All Time Legacy" wing of the Les Miles Football Pantheon.

How in the holy hell would we be an underdog in that game? By what metric? Lou Holtz?

What happens if LSU and Bama go to overtime again? Do we split a title? Or does winner take all even if 1 team "looks better" but loses? And who makes the rules on how this ends if triple OT?
