I want to play Bama and here's why

I think we win a rematch by two TDs. I want to shut up the inevitable whining if we play someone else in the MNC. I think we played Bama nervous, the only time we played like that all year. I don't expect a repeat.

Ok, it had nothing to do with Bama's D right? We beat Arky by 24 too. Don't get too excited.

Alabama had their one great shot in Tuscaloosa. If they want a rematch then bring it on. Tigers will be ready.
Alabama has a very good team. I just think when push comes to shove when LSU plays it's best and Bama plays it's best LSU will win.

JJ starting at QB in a rematch will be the difference maker in another LSU victory over the Gumps.

I think the rematch will be a great game just like the original. I like our chances in the dome with a month to prepare. Oh by the way JJ always plays his best ball in the bowl games. Geaux Tigers

You can NEVER shut up the whining, no matter what you do.

wow I can't believe you guys want a rematch. The easiest way to the title is not through Bama. I will hate to see Bama beat LSU for the title when we beat them earlier. It is harder to beat a good team the second time around

Agree. People don't consider that Lee probably got 75% of the snaps at practice that week and while JJ played ok, he will be better prepared for a rematch.

Did you not watch the game? None of our qb's could throw against them. We won because of their terrible kicker and Saban's questionable play calling

I think that both teams played very conservatively in the first game. Us more than them.
I think in the NC game, both teams loosen it up. If both teams play their best game, I think we win. But it's a think - not a "we got this".
Having to play them twice is a tough task. We shouldn't have to do it, but under the current system, I do believe they deserve to go.
If we put it all together, play our best game, and beat this team for a second time, I could not think of a bigger exclamation point to the best season in LSU football history.
The emotional dividends of winning a 2nd game against Alabama, while Nick Saban is the coach, are heretofore unseen by anything any Tiger team in any sport has ever accomplished.

so, how is it that Al deserves to replay a team that they have already lost to, over another 1 lost team.?
mere rankings does not imply "deserve"
