I'm still a got damn Vampire! I was able to feed on some Cat Faced mother fricker before he woke up and ran and told on my arse...what a bitch! Ive purchased the the black stone, but I've having a problem filling it with a soul. I'm guessing I'm pretty damn close to becoming "thirsty" again. Any suggestions on the quickest way to fill the stone with a soul?

You said you have a companion with you?
If you do, find a bed and order them to sleep in it. Then you can feed off of them quickly before they get up. This reducing your vampire level. But before you do that, to fill the black soul gem you need to learn a soul trap spell. Most of the time you can buy the book that teaches it from magic shops. Maybe try a vendor at the college of winter hold. Once you have soul trap, look for a human of to kill (bandits are best) and beat him up a little bit. Before he dies, cast soul trap on him and then kill him quickly. His soul will fill the gem. All you have to do now is complete the quest by bringing to the guy who asked for it. Make sure your vampire level is low before you meet him for the ritual.

You fill it by lyoearning the soul trap spell (which you can buy from some palace wizards or at the mages college) or you can purchase a weapon with one. If you are still having trouble go to the abandoned house in Markarth (third on right i think). Then just kill someone with that weapon.

I have a battle ax with some purple glow'n shite and one with some green glow'n shite.
Will one of these work? Never used the green one. The one with the purple always tells me "my stones aren't big enough".
