2007 LSU undefeated in regulation

Wouldn't it stand to reason that Alabama has the same argument this year. They are undefeated in regulation, like the same proclamation Les Miles made in 2007 of his 2 loss team. I say since they are undefeated in regulation.....let 'em in!

A very reasonble point. On the other hand, though, unlike LSU in 2007, Alabama has not scored in overtime this year--a clear negative.

they still lose a tie breaker to us, therefore they're number 2. Seems pretty straight up.

LSU and OSU can say the same thing and win their conference. So you just proved why they should be in instead of alabama.

I wasn't defending em..........just pointing out the undefeated in regulation arguement.
Also, they actually had life obstacles to deal with prior to a FRIDAY game and they were on the road.
Bama lost at home with 2 weeks to prepare.
You can argue who they lost too all day but when you break it down Bama's lost is just as bad considering all the circumstances.

Possibly depending on what you think..........do you think losing on the road in conference vs a bowl eligible team is worse than losing at home with 2 weeks to prepare against the #1 team.........
