Rematch? I would think it is a guarantee.

Oklahoma would go over Bama if they beat OSU

Winner of the Big12 still plays LSU. Big 12 computer score too good. Sorry bama.

Lsumatt - so no matter what, if we win out the bedlam winner is our opponent?

Nope.
In this scenerio, Oklahoma would need at least 75% of the number 2 votes in both polls to keep Bama from the BCS game.
Bama's computer ranking will be head and shoulders better that OU.
1/4 of the voters choose Bama, Bama gets their double jeopardy rematch for all the marbles.

Are you guys sure you're going to beat Auburn? Serious question by the way. You're playing them "on the plains." Won't Chiz have the War Eagles/Plainsmen/faux Tigers fired up?

What part of "human polls play a big part" do you idiots not understand? I mean really, you need to get your head out of your asses and realize that computers do not solely determine what 2 teams are in the game. Bama not even playing in the SEC champ game is a huge negative on them (assuming LSU wins out). That being said, whatever happens and if we make it then bring on whatever team it is

I think that was the general consensus if they beat an undefeated Okie State....
Do you think that holds true if they beat OSU after they drop a game to an unranked Iowa St?

Yes. It's still a good win. Better than Bama's best win and at least equal to Oregon's. And there's the no rematch factor.

Oklahoma does not play a conference title game. The Big 12 only has 10 teams...
Oregon will stay ahead of Oklahoma if both win out. Why? Stanford will be ranked higher than Oklahoma State on Sunday. Oklahoma State lost to Iowa state. Stanford lost to Oregon. Oklahoma's best win isn't better than Oregon's best win.

They are about the same now and Oklahoma has a top 10 team left to beat

I'm thinking it's between Oregon and Alabama now. I'd give Oregon the edge if they win out, because they would play in a conference title game.
I would not be shocked to see Alabama get chosen though.

Well if that all happens we beat Bama at their house...We will just have to take care of buisness at ours...BRING IT ON!!!!!!

BUT...the Bedlam game is scheduled for the same weekend as the conference title games. So it is still fresh in the voters minds...and perfect for a last minute jump.

Interesting.
It's curious what would happen in this situation.
If the human polls were:
1. LSU
2. Oregon
3. Bama
4. Oklahoma
You know the computers would have:
1. LSU
2. Bama
3. Oklahoma
4. Oregon
Wonder what that would do to the BCS with those wedges.

OU still has to play 2 top 25 teams on the road ...they win out they are in.......
Besides that I dont give a shite who we play.....

GTFO of here newbie. I don't care what your post count is. You've only been here 11 months.
LSUMatt is the BCS guru. Until you put in all the work he does, you don't get to question.
