Big Bang Theory vs. Community

I've been watching Community since the pilot and think it's one of the best shows on TV. Maybe tied for "The Best" with Modern Family.
I have seen a few posts where people say Big Bang is just as funny as Community, so last night I thought I'd give it a try.
Sorry folks, I really tried to like this show, but it stunk. I never realized how annoying a laugh track was until I got used to NOT having one constantly insult my intelligence.
The jokes were formulaic and you could see them coming a mile away. Predictable, lazy comedy is the worst kind, and this show has it in spades.
Maybe I just need to give it a better try, get to know the characters or something. But I don't see myself wasting precious time on this cookie cutter B grade crap. I put it in the same category as Full House, Empty Nest, Charles in Charge, and King of Queens.

I like BBT but last night proved that Community is more creative and funnier and actually tasks risks unlike most CBS shows

BBT is not very funny to me. I've been watching Community since day one and it's the best show on TV.

I don't get the love for bbt either. It isn't terrible or anything but I don't find it terribly funny. Community hands down for me. The creativity they have on that show is amazing.
