re: If you can't win your conference, can you win the nation?

i said no in the past and i say it now. when ou got the call against us in '03, it was wrong. they did not win their conference. and if we lose in atlanta, i don't think we should go. yes, one can make the argument that the best team does not alway win, but allowing the loser to go on pretty much diminishes the regualar season. when you lose, you should go home; hell that's what happens in a playoff.
