Dont recall saying Lee has won any games with his arm alone. I just showed how horrible JJ has been or are you going to argue the 100th out of 116 rated qb is good? As far as Lee what year are you referring to? Knowing how you JJ fanbois like to twist and alter facts I will post both years.

Here is 2010 I will take Fl as his best game 9-11 for 124 yards and 2 TD's and also set JJ up for two vultured TD's

As for 2011 give me West Va or Florida or Auburn or Tennessee games.

Here is JJ's 2010 go ahead and defend him starting especially those 4 total yards vs McNeese or that 15.2 passer rating vs Tenn. There are plenty of other games in that 7 game stretch that is just 2 for you! Horrible

Im sick and tired of the qb debate on this board. Despite saying over and over again Lee has done great in this offense and he should start I have been labeled as in Jeffs camp because I had the audacity to tell people to slow down during his investigation, say that he could have a role in this offense, and then the worst of all say he has looked pretty good this year. I think Lee should start but for the guys using the begining of last year as ammo against JJ I think its unfair to do so just like using 2008 and 2009 against Lee. Both have improved dramatically and have looked much better this year. To Rudy40 specifcally read this LINK Both Qbs have gone against some of the stiffest competition in college football and done what the coaches have asked them to do. Protect the ball and make some throws to keep the defense honest. They arent Andrew Luck but they dont need to be.

I dont think anyone defends JJs games against vandy or McNeese however any reasonable person can see that he is better than that now. There were multiple reasons and theories as to why JJ got the start and WAY down the list is that Les hates Lee and has benched him because of the bama game. Slow your roll and see what happens against ole miss.

Rudy40,

Here is the problem with your previous post. You are taking from what you see of Lee in 2011 with an all new coaching staff on offense with a different philosophy on coaching offense and their qb's. While looking at JJ under Crowton.

Thats unfair. If you want to do a REAL comparison do one with both JJ and JLee under Crowton for 3 years. But to do that you would have to add the nightmare of 2008 for Jarrett Lee where he arguably had the worst Freshmen year in SEC history.

Add to the fact that this year's defense and special teams are FAR superior to what we had last year. Our defense is giving our offense far more opportunities with the ball. Second our running game wayyyy better.

And last but not least our Offensive line prior to this year has been nightmarishly bad regardless of who the qb was for the last 3 years. They have shown the most improvement out of ANY unit on the team.

Bottom line is Lee has had the benefit of a championship supporting cast around this year while JJ or Lee have not.
