Is this Pillips kid not originally from Louisiana? I find it hard to believe that any Louisiana born kid who was raised watching and following LSU on TV and in the media could ever choose Houston over LSU.
If he has family from Houston or was born in Southeast Texas I can understand.

Houston has picked up 2 of his class-mates, and Phillips wants to move. He's been committed to A&M, Florida, and now some sat a silent to Houston. This should be signal flares to the coaches, but Chavis really likes the kid. Wouldn't be surprised if he commits to LSU, after a visit, and we'd still sweat him till signing day.
