Closed for business. Anyone know what happened?

They haven't been open that long either. Been meaning to check it out but I've been making my own wings at home. Kind of a bad location, IMHO.

It was open a little over a year. It's been closed for a couple of weeks now, they had pretty decent wings too.

Neither one ever heard of a thing called advertising

Galveston seafood is worth a trip. Won't be an award winner, but has the ingredients necessary to stay open in the area. At least until Sammy's opens next year.

Halftime had awesome wings and really good sides, but the damn food always took WAYYYY too long. No way in hell could a person go there on a lunch break and get back to work.
I'd go on my day off, and expect to wait at least 30-45 AFTER we ordered to just get our food.
There was always one young guy cooking by himself during the day, place always empty, you could watch him cook through the service window. Slow as hell, and the sense of urgency of a 90 year old lady writing a check at alberstons.
The owner is a construction or plant guy by trade, and this was an investment for him. He was never there, and had no clue about restaurants. He had some really weird chick from up north running it, and she was pretty freakin clueless.
Hate to see it close, because the food rocked, but overwhelming factors killed them from the start.

If that's the case they were doomed from the start, just a matter of time before they closed the doors.

I know you asked this back in November, but I was told by a good source that WOW Wingery is suing them for using the "Wingery" name. They claim copyright on it.

I'm sure that lawsuit has legs and they'll make a ton of money from a now defunct business.
