Lou Holtz said on the air on ESPN that he had no knowledge that he was even on the Board, and that he was never contacted about being in that position. He simply spoke at a fundraising even, and donated some dough.

They're on the Honorary Board of Directors; looks like they gave money but didn't run the operations of the organization.
