I think I must be one of the only people that doesn't see a problem in them saying and thinking this. Shows confidence in themselves. This way they can stay up for the remaining games and if by some chance there's a rematch they will EXPECT to win the game. Had LSU lost I'd be hoping our players would be saying and thinking the same thing. That they are the best team in the country and go out and win the remaining games!

According McElroy, they are trained to say this. Big difference between this and selfconfidence.

I would hope they would be saying "we got beat, we have to work harder to make sure it doesn't happen again".
LSU made just as many mistakes as Bama...face mask penalties, Tyrann's penalty, poor throw to Shep for easy touchdown. It's all part of the game...
