Thanks for posting. Some of these judgemental reactionaries who write this kid off as some mafia thug gangbanger from New Orleans should see this.
Having a 20yr. old college Soph., I can tell you that there are many "surprises" that can happen when they're out there on their own for the first time.
Those are great people who have raised a good son. The foundation is there and he'll find his way.

Just watched the story and must confess my sin of being judgemental about the play he was penalized for in the game Saturday.
Often times, when sitting behind this computer and in the comfort of my personal space, it is so easy to pass judgement on what we see and hear.
The play cost the team yardage, but as a 43 year old, I have made mistakes in my past, but thankfully, mom and dad gave me the guidance to learn from mistakes and move on.
Great interview and very nice family who has given of themselves!

I agree with you. I had the impression that he was a thug. This sorta changes my way of seeing him,
