Need some food options for DC, particularly for the Georgetown area. If ideas are posted for different areas, let me know neighborhood or area, will be doing a ton of wandering.
Not looking to break the bank for meals, but willing to pay a little for one or two meals.

Not in Georgetown, but Kramerbooks in Dupont Circle is awesome!

Wisemiller's Grocery and Deli is a great sandwich place we would walk to from Georgetown's campus. 1789 is a break the bank restaurant in that area if you change your mind.
There's a Dean & DeLuca in Georgetown on M Street that is really nice if you've never been to one.

pizzeria paradiso is good.
also i find that aside from some high high end places, georgetown is not the neighborhood to go to for a good meal. for midpriced stuff you're better off elsewhere

The bar menu at Citronelle offers a great way to sample the cuisine of a great chef at reasonable prices. I've eaten there several times.

Not in Georgtown but I enjoyed Jaleo, Brasserie Beck, and PS7 in DC this summer.

Filomena Ristorante
If you like Italian food, this place is a must. I'm not even a big fan of Italian, but absolutely loved this place. One of the better meals I've had. It is in G'town.
I had a lot of fun hitting delis and such at lunch. I was in the DuPont Circle area.

Lauriol plaza is really good... My wife and I go there alot
Matchbox is a good place in chinatown
Kramerbooks in DuPont
If you want Georgetown cupcakes... Order them the day before you want them and just pick them up ready the next day... Don't wait in that god awful line. Or go to baked and wired in Georgetown where locals go

My buddy, who lives in GTown, says Clydes.
Said food isn't great in GTown though.

Have had 1)Lauriol Plaza--decent, but don't hate me if I prefer Ninfas. 2)lunch at the America Indian museum (at the request of a friend) lots of selection, but EXPENSIVE for lunch that's semi-ok. 3) "dinner" at the 18th Amendment for for the LSU game and that was some bad bar food, but fun game atmosphere. 4)lunch at Cosi, pretty good for what is probably a chain 5)dinner at Zatinya, really, really good! 6) Arnaud's Chicago Pizzeria (Capitol Hill), great price, nothing terrible.
Can't wait to come back and eat more.
