Your point well taken. I would even venture to say on my memory alone that we were in the red zone more than Alabama. We were 3 for 3. Their defense was great but our defense was better Sat. night when it counted! Geaux Tigers!

The BCS championship game is intended to match "the number 1 team vs the number 2 team".
It aint rocket surgery to understand.
The "if you don't win you division/conference" argument is stupid. People who consistently repeat it are ignorant.
The ONLY time said argument is relevant is when you are comparing two teams in the same conference/division for one spot.
Period!
There are other valid arguments you can make, but the division/conference one aint it. I personally think if you're trying to compare 2-3 teams who are close for the second spot, that including the fact that Bama already lost on its home field to LSU is worthy of being considered.
