Would be nice if they also limited it to the number of season tickets you have. So if you are ranked 500 but only have 2 season tickets your max would be 2, not 4.
Not very likely, and if you only have two, but are top 500, you've donated a lot of money, and deserve any perks that come along with it.

I know this has been asked before....but how can you check to see your priority position again? (assuming you still can)
Go to www.lsutaf.org and log in there.

I will definitely get 2. Hoping for 4 but not counting on it.

i feel great. I bought 10 options on last tuesday for $185 each. as long as lsu wins out or is one of the top 2, will have terrace tickets in the dome.
My father-in-law bought 5 at $175.
I think they are like $350 now. What website did you use?
Posted on 11/7/11 at 2:11 pm to CubsFanBudMan
I tried that....obviously the login information is not the same as it is on the LSU ticket website.....I must need to register or something
hmmmm

LSU Philanthropic Priority Point System will be used to determine ticket distribution
I'm not sure this is factual.......The traditional TAF Rank was used to distribute away game tickets this year.

I'm not so sure either. The order form states that the regular priority point system will be used.

This modification to the Priority Point System will have no effect on existing ticket assignments and parking locations. Also, the method for distribution of away game and post-season tickets will not change. Contributions associated with tickets, such as Tradition Fund payments, will still count toward the point system for away game and post-season tickets.
Ok, just found this in an email from LSU on 3/16/10 announcing the new system for giving out new season tickets and parking passes. I'm back to being worried.

I got 4 in 2003.....this year I think I can get 2.

How many tickets were in the lottery portion in 2007?
Dont know the answer but I got 2

Are they going to do a lottery again this year? I don't think they do the lottery anymore for away games like they were doing back then.
I am fairly certain the will do the lottery

but expect to move up as I'm still waiting on some tradition fund payments to post.
I thought I read somewhere that after March or so money that you donate does not count toward points.
I could be wrong, I typically scan through all the BS when I renew my tickets every year

Thank God I dont need that.

The March deadline is for new tickets and away game tickets. They use an October 31 deadline for post season tickets.
I did a little math to estimate the number of tickets in the lottery. Assuming everyone bought the max that they could, there would be about 1000 tickets in the lottery.
1-100: 8 100 x 8 = 800
101-250: 6 150 x 6 = 900
251-750: 4 500 x 4 = 2000
751-3145: 2 2395 x 2 = 4790
Max purchased at these limits = 8490
If 9500 were allocated to general sales and lottery than at least 1010 were in the lottery. I'm going to guess 15% might be a nice number they would use, which would be 1425. This seems reasonable since not everyone ranked 1-3145 put in for tickets.

Ticket option site (if we make the game, you'll get tickets for less than half of the market price):
What do you expect market price to be? In 2007 I think it was around $1000 for terrace seats. Ticket reserve right now would be about $675 per ticket, so about 68% of the market price. I know a lot depends on who we play.

considering my mom is good friends with someone on the sugarbowl committee I am 100% sure I will get tickets....for face value
Its literally the only connection anyone in my family has.

Less than half isn't right. But I would think prices in the open market would increase from their level now ~1100 as the game approaches/depending on the other team. Options at 349=ticket price of 649 less fees

Great. Got some from a friend on the committee.

We did the same thing... Two reservations on the plaza level for around $180 a piece. Gonna have to pay the $350.00 for the face value on top of that... but it will be WELL worth it. I'm so fired up. We have GOT TO BEAT ARKANSAS!!!!
