And what's this about "used to be on the sideline at games and flew beforehand"? When did this stop? I thought I saw a video from this season of the bird flying into the press box glass--was that from a previous season or are you just referring to something that stopped a few weeks ago in a way that sounds like its a tradition from a bygone era?
The golden eagle named Tiger has not flown before Auburn football games since 2008 or so. Now there are two other birds that fly - a bald eagle enamed Spirit and a golden eagle named Nova. But I was discussing the afore mentioned "Tiger" only.

The eagle - or the golden eagle in particular - is an embodiment of the War Eagle battle cry.

Good info. Thanks for sharing.

Have there been multiple eagles with the name Tiger? What about Spirit or Nova? When any of them kicks the bucket (I'm guessing Tiger is getting up there in age since she's not flying anymore) will there be a new eagle bought and named "Tiger" or "Spirit" or "Nova"?
