Look, this team needs to prepare to play against championship-level defenses, and JL proved he doesn't have what it takes to handle an elite defense.

Use the next two games to give JJ 80% of the snaps, get him ready for Arky, SECCG and beyond.

Lee is a great guy and all, but...

What?? LOL

the guy has been nails all year long. He messed up twice last night and our HC bailed out on him. Our offense did nothing, absolutely nothing, with JJ in there. Much like it did nothing the last 2 years with JJ in there. Lee has started nine games and looked stellar in 8 of them. Your a jackass. If JJ becomes our starter/main QB, we will lose a game or two. We don't score enough with him at QB. Fact

Hehehe...LSU 9 - Alabama 6

Offense put special teams in position to kick field goals. Special teams kept Alabama with long fields. Defense held Alabama to two field goals.

You're an idiot. without JJ vs Alabama WE LOSE. Face it dude, Lee is a great guy but HE CAN NOT WIN THE BIG ONE. Sure everyone will bitch at me for saying this but JJ can handle the pressure of elite teams...Lee can't handle the pressure. It seems JJ just needs to graduate and get away so everybody can be happy in tigerland.

Lee without question.

I can't wait till next year when we have a complete package playing QB and can actually watch a QB run the machine from start to finish. A QB needs to find a groove and stay in it. We haven't seen that in a few years except for the first 4 games of this year.

I would disagree on several counts. I think the primary reason Lee didn't get back in is that Miles decided that the game didn't play to his strengths. In other words, the interceptions weren't the cause of him getting pulled, but a symptom of the larger problem, i.e. Bama's coverage didn't give Lee and our receivers any space at all. (No one smothers a passing attack like Saban's D.) And, the power running game wasn't getting any traction, which added to the problems. JJ was able to spread the field laterally (utilizing Ford's speed to good effect) and he was able to extend a couple of drives with his legs. While this didn't result in any TDs, it did shift field position by 10-20 yards on occasion (crucial in a game like this!), where we might well have suffered a lot more 3-and-outs if Lee had been in, not because he's not a good QB, but because we were playing into Bama's defensive strength with him in there, something Miles realized pretty quickly. And, remember, it was JJ who drove us on our only sustained drive of the night, at the end of the first half. If I remember correctly, that's the only time either team got to within the 10 yard line until overtime.

Going forward, I agree with those who say that Lee should start and get plenty of work this week, if for nothing else, then to get his confidence back. We'll need both QBs down the stretch, and I suspect that Les will play one or the other depending on what the D gives him.
