Saban screwed up kicking them long axx field goals.

you just dont expect college kickers to kick 45+ yds fg. He should have punted and played field position with that defense of his. The loss was on him. Miles played the odds better and won.

He also screwed up letting so much time run off before their last possession in regulation. He played for OT.

Those were not easy chip shots either. Yes they missed 4 but those kicks were way out.

They should be able to make at least one of three. Alabama needs a scholarship kicker.

I don't mean to argue with you; but come on those field goals early on were 48,49, and the last one from 52. Not many scholarship kickers can consistently kick from that range. The media makes it sound like they were chip shots that were missed.

Foster is a scholarship kicker. Shelley isn't and their punter isn't. They also got a guy committed for 2012.

Punt adn play D. Thats what he should have done. All he was doing by kicking FG's is giving up feild position.

Saban's also in control of his roster. Looks like he needs to recruit better because e doesn't have a kicker.
