Who would you consider the biggest waste of talent at LSU by coaches

over the years. I don't mean the guy who is a bust because of his work ethic or injuries or bad attitude, I mean a guy who worked his butt off, did what he was asked but thanks to the coaches, didn't pan out? Doug Planchard doesn't count.
1. Todd Kinchen
2. The qbs we had in the early 90's: Loup, Daigle
3. Ed Orgeron. ;-)

I think Keiland Williams could have been a much better player at LSU.

Dude got as far as he could get. Had a couple of decent years in the NFL.
I'm not sure how much more he could have "panned out." ETA, And apparently he needs to tell his brother to shut the frick up.
Loup and Daigle probably did about as much as they could do, as well.
Sucks that they all had to play on shittily coached teams, but I'm not sure how that counts as a "waste of talent."

All receivers last year.

Trindon Holliday, he was the fastest man in college football and Crowton couldn't figure out how to get the ball into his hands more than a couple of offensive plays per game.

DeAngelo Peterson and Russel Shepard have subpar numbers for their talent

and when he came in the game you might as well tell the other team he was getting the ball.

I'm gonna have to go with this one. Holliday was the fastest player in college football and Crowton was afraid to use him. And the few times he did, it was completley telegraphed.

just to give some recent flavor
Travis Dickson and
Edwards....
Are they just in a log jam at TE with Clement, Joseph and Peterson in the way?

....no way. Haffner totally ruined him and treated him like a dirty whore. What they did to Chad still pisses me off.

I think in general...
we do not develop players as well as we could,
although some improvement has been shown.
There are a lot of players that play well as a result of their abilities, but I seldom see a "developed" surprise.
i.e. receivers do not improve their receiving skills much..I use receivers because it is the easiest to spot...do not confuse that with not making some very good plays.

Platooning QB's with Bert Jones?
Tommy Banks (j/k)
Abram Booty - seriously. He didn't have the best measurables, but the dude got open and he caught the ball. I always wondered why the coaches benched him and he eventually left the team. Bad attitude, perhaps. Anyone have insider info?
