What's the one thing we should do? It almost seems like we should do what we've been doing all year, which is not letting him run straight but instead, make him try to bounce it out and try to run laterally. And just wait for the LBS/Secondary to gang tackle right? Just plug the holes.

But isn't the common expression the only way to beat speed is run right at them?

Tigahs by 2 touchdowns.

LSU D cannot let Bama Oline move them too far off the line.

Tackle and gap responsibility / cover the cut back lanes. He gains a ton of yards cutting back against the persuit. If they guard against this, they will keep TR under control.

Didn't they have another great back last year as well. How was it done? Was last year's defense better than this year?

If our D can can push their line they are done!

I think our coaches have it figured out. I'm not gonna worry too much about it. TR will not help his Heisman chances in this game IMHO. Bringing in fresh D-linemen throughout the game will help make his arse quit. He big but he human.

It's going to be funny watching little 5'8 175 Tyrann Mathieu lay the hammer on big ole 5'11 230 pound Trent Richardson. I wish they had a mic in Tyrann's helmet so I could hear what he has to say when it happens.

Personally, I think you're going to see Mingo become a pass rushing specialist, and maybe move Edwards back to DE or have Adams see waaaay more snaps.

If you listen to all the talking heads LSU doesn't stand a chance of stopping Richardson.

They didn't have a chance of stopping LeMichael James either.

Stack the box and tackle well. Trent well get his yards but I think we can contain him...and if we that we make McCaron win the game. Not good for Bama.

TR will make significant yards if our D over pursues and he is allowed to break containment. Arguably, TR has the best cut back ability of any RB in college football today. LSU's D must be disciplined and not allow TR to break containment. It's the cut back by TR that concerns me the most. However, LSU does have personnel and depth on D to stop TR. They simply need to play gap responsibility (especially the DEs) and we'll be fine.

If I remember correctly they had a great offense last year and we stop it....including Trent Richardson....in the first quarter.

I have a feeling their O-line is going to control the line of scrimmage due to the lack of size up front. We're going to need a big game from our LBer corps.

If I remember correctly didn't UTK's offense rush over 100 yards against us when being held to 29 (correct me if I'm wrong) total rushing yards combined in the previous two games.
