Have reservations (for 10) at the following places and need help deciding which to choose. The girls wanted 9:00 and casual before going out in the quarter.
Deja Vu
Capdeville
Ernst Cafe (we are staying in the warehouse district)
Cafe Masperos
Pierre Masperos
House of Blues

This for tonight? How about the American Sector. Out of those choices I would go with Capdeville also.

when I first read this I thought about the club, not the restaurant.

Out of these choices I agree with this and would go American Sector above the others.
What about Lucys?

saturday night, 10/29
lucy's & american sector both sounds great to me, but the bride wants "authentic new orleans". oh, and she's vegetarian.
again, they are wanting very casual something right before going out

by authentic new orleans, she is talking about the type of food. i think she just wants to make sure she could eat some kind of seafood.
just called lucy's--they are having a halloween block party and cannot take reservations

we did a Bday party at the end of last year after they filmed the TV episode(before it aired) and were able to secure a table to 10 that same day we were going to eat, on a Friday.
food wasnt bad. They have a big upstairs that can accomodate a big party

If she eats seafood, she should be fine, then.
I've never eaten at any of the places on your list, so I can't comment on them.

Maybe you should consider a place like Acme Oyster. It's in the FQ and you can order a poboy or gumbo or a typical New Orleans plate meal, depending on what folks want to spend.

will sound funny but i dont think ACME could fit a 10 top on a Saturday this late in the game. may be worth a call though

Thinking: Short notice, late dinner, casual... How about appetizer plates at your first stop? Call ahead to determine what is the first stop and go from there??? You might even get the meal paid for...
