c'mon man, you are embarrasing yourself. i would love to see LSU continue their academic climb and be selected. one of my biggest frustrations for over 40 years is that LSU fans readily open their wallets up for the football program and get very tight with contributions to the university (general statement of course as many do contribute).

While that may be somewhat true its more about who you know than what you know so adding AAU schools to the conference increases the likelihood that deserving schools such as UGA get a fair shot in the near future and LSU which has steadily been increasing its research prestige could have a chance sooner rather than later.
