I'm glad that it was actually on TV. I'm surprised at how much of the sheer volume they can take out of the crowd. Listening to the replays on the radio, you'd think another earthquake game was occurring. On TV, we sound like we're at Minnesota or something.

I will probably watch it on TV today. It was pretty loud in there yesterday. I wanna say it's the loudest it's been all season!

The quality of the microphones and the audio equipment in general (by the media) has improved considerably in the last few years. We can easily pick up the words of the refs/players/coaches etc...

It is no surprise that loud chants are easily picked up by directional microphones.

I'll admit that I'm not a fan of the two QB system. However, the JJ pass to RR was a thing of beauty. That really sent a message.

Yeah, my personal opinion (not that anyone gives a shite) is that JL is clearly a better QB, and deserving of the start and most of the playing time, but JJ's got talent too, and we'd be fools not to use him in some capacity - plus he doesn't deserve to ride the bench his entire senior year just for getting in a fight, and definitely doesn't deserve a ration of shite from the student section every time he's in......

I've noticed that some of our chants are disappearing. When we played Florida, I asked the students around me, but none of them remembered, "I'm a gator-hater, Geaux Tigers!"
