The first Bertman National Championship I was putting up a wooden fence in the rain and shot a nail through my finger 2 minutes after he said to be careful or I was going to shoot a nail through my finger. I used the game excuse to go in and watch for a few minutes while I jumped up and down about to cry from the pain without him knowing he was right!!!!! I just put on gloves after and said I wanted to be careful!!!

I've been tailgating with my father(entire family as well) for every single game I've attended in tiger stadium(have season tickets since 1980) He started bringing me at the age of 6 and I'm in my 30's now. Have made lots of great memories. I have started the same tradition with my two young sons (4 & 5) and hope to have many great times with them as well. It won't be the same for me when he reaches an age where he can no longer attend.

My dad was at my house watching the Kentucky game in 04. He hot pissed when they scored late in the 4th and left. After the hail mary, he called asking wtf happened and how jack hunt scored.
