My dad was in Tiger Stadium the night Cannon made "The Run". Problem was, they sold beer in TS back then and my dad made most ill-timed "Beer Run" in history. He heard the crowd react, got his beer and reentered the stadium just in time to see Cannon cross the goal line.

He began taking me to LSU games in the mid 60s. Got to sit in one of those box seats behind the entrances - west side about the 35 yard line. I was spoiled. I still get the same feeling when I first enter the stadium today (I'm 57) as I did when my dad first took me to a game (age 10). When I quit getting that feeling I quit going. Don't see that happening any time soon.
