where in the university bylaws are drug tests required? that is an athletic department policy and the coaches mandate that, not the university. this is not a matter of applying university rules evenly. this is a matter of football team rules. and "get kicked out of the university if they bring harm to the image of the university" is such a broad term i don't even know how to respond to it. these players took a team mandated drug test in which the results have not been made public. les miles didn't say a word at the press conference. so any "harm to the image of the university" was created on internet sites like this. the official statement will end up being "a violation of team rules." that could be a multitude of different things. of course we all know what happened because of the internet, but really the players did nothing publicly to harm the image of the university. so that is a pretty weak comparison imo. and as a band member, you'd have to do something pretty fricking outlandish for anyone to even notice, no offense.
