I like it, plus I've always had a thing for EVC. She's smoking hot.

I love this show. I just read that it got picked up for a full season of episodes so that must mean it is doing well with ratings. WIll be interesting to see how they carry this storyline. Im enjoying the plot so far. Also I am a huge Emily Van Camp fan.

A lot of time the shows the hype big time over the summer end up being the flops (last year My Generation, this year Charlie's Angles). I saw tons of previews for Revenge over the summer and thought it looked ridiculous, but I watched the pilot out of boredom and was totally hooked. I love this show and I'm excited it got picked up for a full season.

She even looked hot with the black hair.

I like it. I'm guessing it's a one season and done show (due to the premise). It's a nice change of pace from all the cop dramas, medical dramas, comedies, and reality shows that permeate the airways.

As I have said in other threads, I like the way she gets revenge. It's a nice change from the "get revenge by killing" stories.

I completely disagree. I believe the character may be a psychopath. She has no qualms about hurting the innocent in order to exact her revenge as demonstrated in the episode where she destroyed the investment firm. Both innocent employees and investors were seriously damaged by her plot.

Of course she's a psychopath. They've never suggested that her actions are nobel or justified. Another character even called her out on it two weeks ago.

I think she's awesome. She's basically my dream girl. Well, she would be if she had an interest in role playing fantasy and sci-fi games as well as being a revenge seeking psychopath.

I guess I'm not as uniquely insightful as I previously believed.

After seeing the previews before the season started I wasn't interested but since then I've found out that Madeleine Stowe is on the show.
Now I kinda want to check it out she was my favorite actress in the 90s.

I don't have a lot of problem with the way she's going about it... she was unjustly removed from her only parent at a young, impressionable age, force fed lies about him (which we learned in the pilot she came to believe until she got the packet of evidence from Nolan she is now using to identify her "victims"), unjustly kept in a locked unit on a psych ward having her mind toyed with by an ethically challenged child-psycholgist for personal gain (as we learned last week), and it appears she was either kept THERE or was in juvy until 18 years old. Where was she supposed to learn to be a good person? If she DIDN'T turn out to be a little "off" it would be shocking and a bit unrealistic. I like the direction they are going. No one cared about destroying HER, the ULTIMATE innocent bystander, so why should she care about the collateral damage? She seems pretty amoral, but that's appropriate for what her character has been through.

Agreed, and like I mentioned in a previous thread (we really need a season-long thread by the way), I'm sure the ramifications of her actions will be touched on as the series progresses. At that point she can either make things right for those she indirectly wronged, or go full heel like Walter White.
