When are the coaches going to speak up and say "Enough!"? This is football, there is going to be contact, and at times, violent collisions. I can't imagine that the coaches are in favor of these pansy arse rules.

The rules aren't the issue, just the piss-poor job interpreting and applying the rules. Common sense tells you that was a clean hit.

The NFL is ruining their own product and eventually going to run the fans off. That call cost the Saints 3 points and made this a two possession game.

I agree. The competition committee needs to reel this in before it gets out of hand. I am all for protecting players, but not of it means calling legal hits (or hits that are clearly not with the intention to hurt someone) penalties.
