Me? no...but then I just assumed that shite was WAY off limits! haha

I made a handful of shirts around 2001 and 2002 and was selling them on CafePress. I was using my handle "GeauxTiger" as part of them, and of course they were purple and gold, etc. Most of them were silly internet things at the time, play on words with players names like Geaux Reaux, etc. LSU came in when they saw some of my web ads and saw GeauxTigerGraphics and the use of a tiger image (not an LSU one) in conjunction with the word TIGERS and the colors purple and gold.

They basically argued that despite the fact that the do not have colors trademarked, and they certainly can't trademark the animal TIGER, that using them all together implies LSU, etc. I disagreed and pointed out the ton of Louisiana high schools that all have the same thing, but in the end they were going to fight it and I didn;t want to fight with LSU. It wasn't some huge money making deal...just a few extra bucks and something fun to do.
