bad interpertation of the rule IMO

that just wasn't egregious enough for me for them to make that call right there...taunting doesn't = celebrating and what Brad did was really a celebration

but it's the rule and would rather it happen yesterday than somewhere on the road in November

This was discussed on ESPNU sportscenter as well. They showed a clip of the ARkansas player that took it "to the house" and he turned around to see if an Auburn player was around him, then slowed down going into the endzone and then placed the ball on the ground just inside the pylon. Then placed his hands on his hips and walked off. The announcers said that it was more of an example of egarious(sp) taunting that what Wing did. They also said that it has been discussed with both defensive and offensive players unit meetings, however, probably not in special teams, specifically punters, meetings.

They also said that it was intended to stop the Reggie Bush style of doing a flip into the endzone when scoring.

Go become and SEC official and when you see a play like that then don't call it because it wont be egregious enough for you.

It clearly was for the ref that called it
