Russell Shepherd has been back for two games and has done very little as the offense has tried to get him into the flow. I just don't know by now if Russell Shepherd is just a bust. Odell Beckham is by far the better wide receiver. I just don't see him living up to the hype. However, I sure hope the light comes on this weekend against a very dangerous #17 Florida.

All they have to do is get him is space & let him run.I think Les wasted Holiday the same way. Ever hear of a swing pass?

id cut him some slack... he did make a heckuva catch last week.

anyhow, hes been a QB longer in his career than a wr (i think). patience is in order.

He would be VERY dangerous out of the backfield.

Oh well, good to fantasize anyway.

I know im showing my ranter colors here, but id love to see him run the read option or wildcat,or soemthing where he has an opportunity to make a play.

The sane part of me thinks the coaches probably already evaluated him in that capacity and determined he provides better value as a WR.

either he's a receiver or hes not at this point. blaming the coaches for misusing him or not calling jjjuussssstttt the right play fir him is kinda silly. I think he'll have a great second half of the year regardless; just a little more patience.

He's been here 2 & a half years + 2 years of recruitment + much recent publicity in the last 4 months.

Honestly how do people keep misspelling his name??

the guy is faster than lightning. Just got to figure ways to get him the ball out in the open so he can turn on those afterburners. I am kind of surprised in that his high school career shows him to be an excellent running QB. Wondered if his passing skills are lacking and thats why he not playing QB.

He reminds me of Reggie Bush, an East-West runner, who can't catch

They've told him to lay low until Bama and then WHAMA BAMA. Shephard scores 4 rushing TD's

I really hope Russell Shepard makes you look foolish in the coming weeks.

word was that he couldnt grasp the offense....
i am not ready to close the book on him just yet, did you see him jump and get that ball for the 1st down against Kentucky?? The dude is an amazing athlete, loaded with talent.... they will get the ball to him and he will hopefully catch better..
