What year is this? We could have that Ole Miss offense! If complaining floats your boat and you love misery, as the old saying goes--keep on trucking! It would be nice if you would let everyone that do not share your misery, enjoy the making of a magical season. One win from SECCG and 12-0. Seasons like this do not come along often and its a shame that some people are so miserable they feel the need to cloud up and rain all over others enjoyment.

This offense is better than last year's, and by a significant margin.

In all phases. Not sure how the hell anyone could watch last years wizardry and think it's remotely similar.

to be fair, consider the teams LSU has played in those two games.

he has performed well in both however.

Oh I know who we played. One criticism of JJ was that he can't even play well against inferior competition. Well when he finally does and shows that he is an improved player. People move the goal posts and change the criticism into being that he only played well because of the competition.

I'm just happy for both qbs improvement and don't understand some people's insistence on tearing down either of the qb's.

You have gone full retard in these threads recently and you have been called out on it several times. I wouldn't look for too many people to agree with you about anything until you stop being a rantard.

Or trying to make either look better than they are at the expense of the other. Let's be real, neither are, or will ever be superstars. Neither is that much better than the other to warrant the fan clubs they have.

The offense has been much better this year. Anyone thinking otherwise is a f'king lunatic. Both QB's have contributed to this, but it probably has more to do with the OC than anything.

so you are aware LSU played northwester earlier in the year?

the one where lee was benched at half time (for good reason, he was 9/10)

was jefferson playing in the second half of both of the last two games?

to be fair, lee had the #2 rated pass efficiency qb rating in the SEC

He was efficient for sure as JJ has been, but I think it's more managing the games as it is allowing their talent to win games. Neither has really been asked to do anything critical besides not turn the ball over, and move the chains by distributing the ball.

I am very pleased with the QB play and predicted last year this team would content for the NC if the QB play improved, but the QB is just part of the machine in this offense and not the main cog.

We weren't.

And that was with Ole Miss having Masoli at QB.

He gave us a hard time when he scrambled but got picked off a couple times.

Yeah, but LSU hasn't needed that kind of play to win a game this year like you saw in the UF game last year. The offense this year is light years better and more efficient than it was last season, and the QB's really haven't been required to do too much. Not really a fault of theirs, but they are just a part in the process and not the feature, necessarily. Both look good though

question...

say were behind...in the second half....which QB do you choose?...obviously choose a qb required to "do much"

Depends on the situation and who LSU is playing against. I can think of teams and situations where I would prefer either. It was my contention coming into the season that neither of these guys can function a whole season without some capable backup. I still think this is the case. With JJ and Lee, LSU is a two QB team.

Could LSU be undefeated with either going solo? Yes. But the position really hasn't been challenged that much, and it's far from over.

From a west div. foe...

I think JJ helped beat my team. He does what he does well against us.

LSU may be the outlier from the "got 2 QBs got 0 QBs"

But yall aint trying to get one of your young inexperienced QBs to win the job. They both have won the job and are experienced already.

LSU and BAMA could both be super-unbeatable with a QB that is all-sec. Can take charge of the offense and carry it if need be.

I hope AJ develops into that or Sims beats his arse out, and becomes that QB.

Funny how we both have all the pieces for the perfect team sans That Great QB.

I think LSU and BAMA will start next year looking for the QB to be the game changer.

I know between AJ, Sims, and Simms we really need a confident guy that can make the throws and run the team from a point of authority.

AJ missed some opportunities in the LSU game. It's my belief that if he had stepped up in that game, it could have been much different.

After last season, I will be in love with anything you want when our QB's are accounting for 19 passing TDs with 3 ints, 2 rushing TD's, completing 62% of their passess, and have a combined rating of 160.

Night and day from last season, night and day.
