Lee will make a good Pro. He is coachable and will be even better when he gets more NFL coaching. I'd take a flyer on him in the 4'th round if he is still available at that spot.

After 2008, if there was one thing I was clear on, it was that I never wanted Lee to take another snap for LSU. He clearly wasn't good enough.

Now, he is an example for me and my family on how to fight back. No excuses, no complaints - just hard work, determination and a mature attitude. Wow!!

If you want to see how poor a leader that JJ is, go to you tube and click on LSU florida 2010. After a TD on the goal line, you can see Chase Clement go after JJ, and another lineman have to pull him away--also at the end of the game when LEE thre winning TD to Toliiver, everyone is jumping around, and you can see JJ just stand there--no congratulations or acknowledgement.

Couldn't find anything with Chase Clement but I did see his reaction to the td. Everyone was jumping around celebrating and he was just walking around alone.

I watched it too. He went talking to JL about something - probably to congratulate him.

Look at 7:35...

Don't leave JJ out of this either. He has taken a lot of shite over the last couple of years. On top of that, this fanbase turned on him faster than TM7 can do the ladder backwards.

re: Lee's leadership and composure (Posted on 9/30/11 at 10:22 a.m. to FlyFishin Tiger) I like your way of thinking. He is a great leader. Last year I went to the Florida game as a student sat on the third row off the field right behind the team. Man it really pissed me off to watch JJ bitch at the receivers. The guy just has a bad attitude.

I was there in Gainsville and noticed the same thing about Jefferson. Bad attitude is why I am not a fan of Jefferson.

I disagree. JJ broke the rules that night while Lee was sleeping. He has nobody to blame except himself for opening the door to where we are today.....

Exactly what is this supposedly invaluable "skill set" that only Jefferson possesses?

No skill?

Ole war skull ,no one can dispute Jefferson's ability to play running back. If you are going to support your case for Jefferson, this is a bad game to use in your defense. We all remember the end of the game like it was yesterday.

I think we're all happy with the quarterback play by Lee. But, let's don't turn this into a Lee is good, versus Jefferson, who hasn't played. I really like both players, and I trust the Coaches to make the decisions.

True, but imagine this is one of our starting defensive stars this year or PP7 last year.

Also - what he endured in '09 and '10.

I still can't imagine what the JL story will look like if LSU wins the MNC under his leadership this year... what a story!

This is a very real possibility. Pick-six? What pick-six?

I think we would of seen that scowl of frustration that JJ frequently wears.
