Who wants it more? WVU or Mizzou?

WVU and Mizzou fans who are on the board, I'm wondering which school wants the #14 spot more, as it seems like it's coming between the two. Whose student body/alumni is pushing for it more? With the Big 12 and BEast both on unsteady ground, which school needs to get out of their conference more?

We have better fans and more of an SEC like atmosphere we lack the AAU academics Mizzou has which is their ticket in the B1G and a tv market like KC and STL

You know the answer to that. WVU fans would be almost unanimous. Missouri has no freaking idea what they want. That is one Forked up fanbase... I would hate to have to have my job depend on that decision.

After my first trip to Morgantown I say NO WAY to the "white trash nation of WVU".

I say we get both schools' ADs and have them fight to the death for the 14th spot.

Would think Missouri joining the SEC would build their program to maybe become an SEC atmosphere one day. Did not really hear a lot of good things about West Virginia on this past game. Thought their coach looked ridiculous on the field all the crying of faking injuries. No offense to the good fans of West Virginia but it seems Missouri would be the one to go after and hope adding the SEC to their name would build their team and stadium atmosphere.

WVU already has an SEC game day like atmopshere and is already planning to expand the stadium a move to the SEC would make those plans a lock.

Mizzou with those 2 huge markets can barely fill a stadium the same size as WVU's

Not a big fan of the WVU program and their Phil Collins head coach. I'd take FSU, Ga Tech, Clemson, NC State, or even Mizzou over them.

I'm in Southern Missouri(Joplin/Springfield area). I don't even here people talk about Mizzou football in this part of the state. Hell people don't even get excited for Mizzou games unless it's basketball season. I don't know about other people on this board in Missouri and the feeling in their section of the state.

ETA: Norman,OK and Fayetteville,AR are closer to us than Columbia,MO. That's probably why a lot of people aren't interested in Mizzou down here.

i def get the whole tv market argument but the other side to it is that the SEC is a national brand and what games would draw more of a national rating

Mizzou vs Arky
WVU vs UF

then compare it with the ACC's bright moves

BC( im pretty sure bigger than any SEC market) vs Pitt

I actually have no problem with WVU, I just like trolling this board.

I feel that WVU would make a much better fit than Mizzou.

Way better fit. I'd be happy if Mizzou joined the SEC, I'd love for LSU to come up here every other year. But I also believe they'd make a waaaaaaaay better fit by staying in the Big 12 or moving to BIG. Can't imagine Mizzou in the SEC, seems more of a midwest school.

I'd personally rather have WVU, I've heard they're more of an SEC fanbase. Sounds like it'll be Mizzou. Of course, I'd rather had stayed at 12.

IF it's true that the SEC rejected WVU's request to join, then hell no I don't want my team in the SEC.

If that isn't true, then you know I sure do.

Basically boils down to this.
