While at LSU, he had a stated team policy that "No starter will ever lose his position due to injury", but when starter Abram Booty went down, he put freshman Jerel Meyers in at Flanker and left him there after AB came back. He moved Booty to WR, which rightly so pissed him off and he was never quite the same again.
How fair was that Gerry?
BTW, this single incident was also the original incident that kick started the whole Booty-Evangel-LSU hate thing.
