The more I think about it... since it's a 8-team league is there not a serviceable TE on waivers? While gaining a arguably the #1 TE right now is great (and swapping WR essentially), I feel like you could pick up a decent TE on waivers and put up better numbers than gates has been getting you.
If it were me, I would maybe try to work your RB corp and see if you can snag a better WR2 to have in addition to Welker.
I don't think Santonio holmes benefits you in anyway.

It's a 10 team league and the best I can find on waiver is Marcedes Lewis. Santonio could end up starting over Mike Williams some weeks plus I'll have Colston when he returns and could possibly swap him with one of the Saintards in our league.
