Thoughts?? I guess when I saw him go down and not able to put any weight on his leg, I feared the worst.

The fact that he was NOT IR'd right away is positive IMO...

It's not a big deal but...

I think it means Tom Johnson is ready to play. It also might mean we're looking to sign another OT.

My point was that Strief was NOT IR'd and that is good news. We need to sure up the OL depth and that is why King was waived.

Strief's injury looked bad, I guess I was expecting some type of season ending surgery bc he couldn't put any weight on it.

He still could be IR'd.

I'm sure they have done tests on Strief by now and understand the severity of his injury. If it was a severe season ending knee injury and all signs were pointing to that on Sunday then the Saints would know that and make a move accordingly.

The fact that he was not IR'd today is a very positive sign about how serious his injury really is IMO!

He could be IR'd already and we might not know. King getting waived was leaked out and I'm not sure if they've given official word yet.

Well that's cool. I was pretty sure he tore something. He is a big guy though. It would probably be hard to put any weight on a hangnail.

Agree that is why I am encouraged he wasn't IR'd right away. The fact he was injured w/o being touched is usually a really bad sign.

I was really liking King's tenacity. He brought energy to the field. Maybe we'll see him in the future!
