Will the official news of joining the SEC prove to be a rallying cry for the Aggies to finish strong the rest of the year?

BTW... Welcome to the SEC Aggies. Been too long in coming. Y'all always did belong here all along.

Hey, take Bevo and that terd he laid up in here and. Stop taking a shite in my thread. It's a legitimate question. If you have no interest in discussing it, then graze somewhere else.

Ok, I'll answer your question legitimately. A&M is just not that great. The game yesterday proved that. They will lose several more games this season in conference, whether they are excited about moving to the SEC or not. The current ESPN bowl projections have them playing in the alamo bowl, which is where they will likely end up.

Fair enough, but it was a close game. Okie State didn't dominate them, and both were ranked, so it's not as if they struggled against a nobody.

That's true, but they were also at home. The Big 12 is pretty good this year with a lot of tough competition. They have to play Arkansas next week, which could very easily be a loss. A couple weeks later they play a good Baylor team. If they start out 3-3, they are not going to have the motivation to finish strongly. They then play at Norman...that's not going to be a win for them.

And remember, this was their best team in years.

I don't see them losing to Ark, and certainly not Baylor.

I honestly see them losing to Ark easily. Baylor is a close one, but unless the break RG3's legs, it could be a very close game.

RG3 has more touchdown passes than incomplete passes right now. I don't care who you are playing...that is ridiculous.

Our defense would definitely have to improve quite a bit to have any hopes of winning out but it isn't impossible (including the game in Norman).

While I am tremendously disappointed in yesterdays game, some of the sting is gone now and I'm overjoyed the thing is finally official!

Run the table?? Unlikely. We could still pull 8 to 10 wins though.

I hope we can pull out a good bowl game again. We do belong in the top 25, but we have too many flaws to be top 10.

I don't understand the conglomeration of horns fans on here. You have nothing to do with the SEC other than losing to the Tide last year.

It's a message board. Who the frick cares? I live in Baton Rouge and have lot of friends who are LSU fans.

Actually two years ago. But we won the cotton bowl when we played LSU.

Are you trash talking the 2003 Cotton Bowl? Really? Are you that desperate?

LSU beat Texas in the 1963 Cotton Bowl, while we're on the subject of games on which the trash talking statute o limitations has expired.

A&M is a good team, but most definitely will need to achieve more of a "finish strong" mentality when they come to THE conference.

If they take their foot off the opponents throat the way they did against OSU, they will suffer a lot of late game losses in the SEC, only worse.

OSU is a good team and will compete for the conference title. A&M is not out of the picture yet either.

I would LOVE to see A&M win the BIG12-3=9 in their final season!!!
