Those who attended the game...

Experiences, positive, negative, mixed bag?
If you could give some comparisons to other games you've attended I'd really get a kick out of that.

Great experience. Mountaineer fans went out of there way to make sure we were having a good time. There were a few drunk a-hole students and lots of "frick you LSU". But overall I was impressed. Of course after the game, they were extremely humbled. 99% of the fan base expected a close game and/or a WVU victory.

Compared to other games you've attended how would you rate it/compare it?
And would you say we have a higher per capita rate of d-bags or it was about on par for away games? I'm honestly interested in this and not trying to stir anything up. Fan behavior is a concern of mine.

Older fans were very gracious and I made a point of thanking them for their hospitality.....we had a fun group where we were parked, although after the game there was a bunch of 6 or 8 rednecks looking for trouble......we just stayed en-masse until they finally left.....

I thought the chicks were surprisingly hot.

A mid-40's WVU fan punched my 85 year old grandma in the face and spit on her.
I also saw a group of about 5 WVU fans rape and pillage an entire tailgate full of nuns and orphans.
I didn't encounter any piss baloons, though, so overall pretty mild compared to BR.

I had a great time at the game. I was told beforehand that most of the dickheaded comments we would receive would come from the out of state WVU fans and that actually seemed to be the case. When we got frick you's we just laughed it off.
The WVU fans we stopped and tailgated with for awhile were awesome. They gave us beer and fed us their "jambalaya" but it was
I ate it anyway being i was drunk. They had high hopes but most of them knew LSU's defense would be too much. They also very much want to be in the SEC.
We sat in the south endzone 2 rows behind the band. They did everything they could pregame to get the crowd going. It quieted down when they realized how good LSU's defense was. It was also nice being able to buy beer in the stadium
