VY has never thrown for 400 yards in a single game in his entire career.
Passing wise, his best game was 24/35, 249 yards, and 2 TDs.
A good game, to be sure, but not exactly take over the game through the air, quality.
And that's not really getting into his mechanical issues, which Newton doesn't really have.
