So this girl tries out successfully and kicks a returnable ball just inside the goal line. What does the return team do? I know the first thought that crosses ranters' pea brains is "kick her f*in arse, man!" with a big fist pump. But it is a more difficult question than that.

On the one had she's fair game--block her as aggressively as anyone else would be blocked. On the other hand, if they do, she'll probably be sent flying 10 feet through the air and do a couple of backward rolls on the ground then lie still. The stadium will go nuts.

If you pull back on the block, however, and your return man is tackled by her, you may as well pull out a hari kari knife right there and remove the testicles yourself.

I've never seen how this is handled by the smaller schools that have had an occasional woman kicker. Will be interesting.

She is on the field and more than likely wants to be treated as an equal.

It would be a PR coup to have a woman on the football team, but it won't happen.

Well this isn't ballet.

Then she shouldn't have been on the field in the first place.

She would have to practice just like everyone else so the coaches would know before hand if she could swing a set.

For the last 9 months shes been practicing doing strictly field goals with the team.

Hit 53 yards several times.

Only started kickoffs last week, not sure if she would even kick off.

if she kicks off I wouldn't block her at all and leave an extra man to lead block. If your return guy can't run away or over her then he has no business being the return guy. It'll be 10 vs 11 in kick offs.

She's 6 foot and looks like 185 pounds. LSU has had kickers who were smaller than she is.

This whole story is bs. If she ever takes a kickoff for us I will kill myself and delete my account.

If you can't take the hit, get off the field. That is why women should not play football with men. It's not as if they are playing baseball. Football is a full contact sport.
