I'm trying to plan out a weekend work schedule for my employees, so any word or guess on what time this game will kickoff?

2:30 CBS. I'm 99.9% positive

Choices are UT-UGA, Ark-Aub, or LSU-UF. I'd say almost certain a 2:30 CBS start.

when will you people learn that every home game is designated to start at 7 until the TV networks change the start time?

Give em the weekend off. They've earned it, and Florida is playing LSU in Tiger Stadium on that Saturday. Why not just go ahead and take off that weekend yourself. Life is short and you work too hard anyway. In fact, why not throw a game watching party at your place. It will be great for company morale as well as being an excellent team building exercise.
There, dilemma avoided.
You're welcome.

In looking at the agreements, it appears that CBS gets first pick on Saturday of every conference matchup and can only televise one night game which is scheduled to be (but not confirmed) Alabama/Florida. That would leave Florida at LSU for the 2:30 Central time slot.

Most Likely 2:30 with damn CBS.... But I am crossing my fingers and praying to all the Saints that they pick up Ark-Aub instead... if Ark beats Bama this weekend it would help. If Auburn can manage to not lose again (difficult) it would be a compelling case, im thinking they might even use the 6 day option for that weekend

Did CBS stop having night games? CBS televised LSU-Florida at night for 3 years in a row from 2007-2009.

This one gets my vote.

Just got an message from a guy who works for CBS sports out of NY. Sat with him at the Kentucky Derby; Said no decision has been made as of yet and they have until the Monday before the game as a deadline. And yes, the SEC/CBS contract gives CBS first right of selection. Nice guy, layed $100 on the Derby winner, bought the entire box a round of mint juleps! Said they will probably decide sometimes next week. Only real concern is Fla. two weeks in a row

All depends on the Ark/Alabama game. If Alabama wins, then Alabama and Florida will be the one prime time SEC game per year. If Arkansas beats Alabama, then the Florida/LSU game will be prime time (if Florida beats Kentucky). Geaux Wildcats and Hogs!!!!! CBS always takes the two highest rated teams, especially if they're unbeaten. Danielson let it slip during the Florida/Tennessee game after Florida got a big lead. Then, recanted that Florida/Alabama would be primetime because it depends on Arkansas. Sleeseball Slive wants to make CBS happy, so watch out for the refs Hogs against the Tidy Bowlers.

I know its a few days old, but does this pretty much cement Florida @ LSU as 2:30?
