Will Texas have any friends left?

Colorado...gone
Nebraska...gone
Texas A&M...gone
Oklahoma...foot out the door
Oklahoma State...foot out the door
How can any Texas fan look at the last 20 years and not realize and be embarassed by the fact that TEXAS is the problem? It's obvious that no one wants to be around UT. For such a great school and city, it has gotten to the point where Texas fans should be ashamed IMO of the isolation that their program has embarked upon. They may end up with all the $$$ in the world, but what does it matter if you don't have rivals to beat your chest to and trophies to compete for?

What a weird thread. Texas will be just fine. We have our own network and will soon have our own BCS conference. Just hope we don't decide to come to the SEC because, if that is what we decide to do, Slive will be forced to accept us and then we'll run this conference too.......

Only a matter of time until they go independant.
I don't see the PAC12 letting them in the conference without pulling at least a portion of the Longhorn Network revenue under their umbrella. No other conference besides the Big12 is dumb enough to allow the unequal revenue sharing that Texas demands.

Their attitude is typical of Texans. A lot of hot air that no one outside of Texas pays any attention to. They fooled their conference members for a long time but Nebraska which is a better and more storied program finally had enough of the bluster that is Texas. Started a chain reaction. Now the Aggies who fancy themselves equal to Texas (but who have won one conference championship in 15 seasons and nothing nationally in forever) think they're equal to the best SEC programs. Delusional Texans make me laugh!! Texas is no prize and neither are the Aggies.
