Hitting- Gyno fricked me up out of 2 or 3 picks. Overall he came out alright. Dom Brown was a reach. Jason Bay may have been. Ask me after the season, lol. IF he has a good year, that was great value. As was the Uribe pick, but look for him to tail off slightly after career year. He can get fat quick. Gyno IMO had one of the top hitting keeper list in the league. Votto, Pedroia, Crawford, Youk…JUpton.. His bench has a few guys that will help him as well.


Pitching- Not sure I like going closer so early. He grabbed Wilson and Pap very early in draft. But it didn’t go over too bad. He was still able to add Wandy and Anibal, who I both like. Kenley Jansen is a K machine as a RP. Not sure Bedard has much value because of his injuries. Derek Lowe is an OK stop gap. His top 4 are strong. Anibal being the 5th, kind of a swing guy. Strong closers.

Overall- One of the more complete teams I have ranked thus far. I think he’s a playoff contender, solid all around.

Hitting- This team is going to lack some power. Will really need Carlos Lee to step up, and Vlad to stay healthy. Russell Martin was a reach. I think some of your bench players will out produce your starters. A perfect storm will have this team competiting week to week in hitting cats. But I don’t really see it. Sorry Louis. 5.5

Pitching- Didn’t do too bad here. I like Romero and Kennedy is solid. Hochevar blows though. Zambrano was a nice pick late. I like both closers. Throw them in with CC and Lince and this is a decent pitching team.

Overall- I think Louis team looks better at this point this year than last. I can see some semblance of balance and good players on both sides. Middle tier team at this point, but perfect storm could have him worrying people.
