People are severely over-estimating how much of DFW TAMU actually brings. It's by far a UT and OU market, with A&M a distant third--all of that with the exception of Fort Worth, which has gotten behind the Frogs the past two years. Fort Worth is a city of 650K and is projected to be around 1.1M by 2030. It's growing that fast. Actually being in the market with that foothold would allow the SEC to push back against the PAC in the 5th largest DMA in the country. A&M won't do that from 3-4 hours away, though they'll deliver the shite out of #10 DMA Houston.
