My question is if the ACC picks up Pitt and Syracuse and lets assume teams won't leave the ACC now with those teams added. If we are limited to the remainder of the Big East and Big 12 to reach a 16 team conference. Who do we go after?

Good question. The list of available programs is not that large.

WVU and Mizzou are probably on the top of the list. They have they least problems. Texas Tech and Houston are probably on the list as a possible second Texas school. Honestly, I'd prefer TCU or Baylor. And I don't want either of them. OK, maybe Houston.

From the Big East... Louisville? South Florida? Southern Miss?

Ugh. It's ugly. Florida St doesn't seem as bad of an idea all of a sudden if the SEC plans to go to 16.

Yes, looks like ACC holds together. So scratch off VT and FSU.

That leaves Mizzou and WVU. Mizzou is sitting in the catbird seat. B1G, PAC, and SEC appear to want them.

So, no I do not think it's out of realm of possibilities for TCU to be considered.
