This.

We don't want them.

If the Horns were willing to sacrifice the LHN, the Big XII wouldn't be going anywhere. Hell, if they'd been willing to throw their 3rd tier rights back into the pot last summer, Nebraska and Colorado would still be in the league.

I've believed all along that Texas will try to "save" the Big 12, or whatever it will be called after the alleged mass exodus, by adding other Texas teams, etc. I really don't see them doing anything else, but who can say for sure?

texas fit well with the big 10

ou fits with the pac or sec

osu is the cost of doing business with OU

A&M fits with the SEC 'like a glove'

second option for A&M is Big 10, but that is if there is a catastrophe in the SEC.

I've heard rumors of them looking at B1G, PAC-#, and ACC. I think they are scared that they will be left out due to their arrogant ways.

Trying to figure out why people think that the LHN is a problem when it easily fits within the SEC bylaws as currently constructed.

I doubt UT ever goes to the SEC, but that does not mean there is anything that would stop them from applying.

Texas may fall to where notre dame is. Too big for their own self, so they'll have to go it alone.

if the defections from the big 12 materialize, i (who seem to stand alone) would not be surprised to see them apply to the sec.

Agreed.

That would save some face.

That would be a shocker. I know Slive would love that, but who else? Would the extra $$$ even be worth dealing with them?

oh hell no! I'm looking forward to A&M joining as I've always liked them but UTx would be like dropping a turd in a punchbowl.
