They're in a tough position. I think their network opening turning into a flaming pile of a shite kind of proved it would be hard to sustain as an independent, but they would have to swallow a big ego hit and scrap it to switch conferences. Who knows what the hell they will do, but I know I will have 
ready.

This also. They take great pride in these sports, especially baseball. They won't just do away with it, and there isn't a reasonable conference for those to affiliate with like ND and the Big East (which doesn't give a shite about football). Another part of the predicament they're in.
