I still think Lee will go through ups and downs this year, and a viable alternative will be necessary. He should start though until he shows otherwise however.

He has done a good job of limiting the turnovers, which was everyone's fear. Still want to see ANY QB play 3-4 games before solidifying my feelings though

My thoughts during a season is thus:

You stay with the starter until given clear reason to not. Whether as a result of the starter sucking balls, or by virtue of the next guy being clearly better.

I don't want fluidity at that position when we are competing for a title.

Exactly. Lets at least wait till we need our QB to make plays, or at least play a conference game.
